These Associates are typically tasked with:

  • leading wide-ranging programmes and very large projects
  • delivering results and achieving objectives
  • taking full responsibility for all business and IT aspects
  • managing multiple sub-projects
  • working with multi-million pound budgets and substantial resources
  • reporting to and interacting with senior levels of management
They are also capable of filling senior line management roles in large organisations, such as Finance Director or IT Director, or acting as a board-level management consultant.

Assignment examples:

Manage a £14m programme to develop and implement new technology and business processes into the customer service division of a major utility. New IT achitecture provided by Accenture, applications by external software provider, requirements and business processes developed internally, organisational change, skills development and performance measurement, contract management.

Manage a £10m programme portfolio of IT projects to support the centralisation of credit assessment and lending operations in a major bank.

Manage the programme to separate operations and governance for an industry-owned payments service. Separate subsidiaries were set up for each of the two major payment products, each with operations and technology organisations, plus corporate governance structure. Involved liaison with fourteen major financial institutions.

Manage the Group Finance Change Programme for a big four high street bank. Develop and agree vision with the Group and Divisional Finance executives. Design implementation model, organisational structure, competency analysis. Drive the implementation while managing stakeholders.
