These Associates are typically tasked with:
- Line responsibility at senior level for a function such as: Operations; Finance; IT; Customer Service
- Combining the need to achieve significant change within the function with maintaining day-to-day activity
- Acting as Management Consultant on significant strategic issues
These Associates typically report to the Chief Executive or Group Functional Executive. At slightly lower levels of responsibility, Interim Executives undertake similar roles at a divisional or departmental level Assignment examples:
Interim Finance Director of previously autonomous finance function for a subsidiary company whilst concurrently managing its integration into the central group function and the close down of residual operations
Interim Customer Service Manager of a call centre operation during period of change in the products and services supported and evolution to multi-channel contract centre.
Interim IT Director for the setting up phase of a multi-owner joint venture fulfilment company providing logistics and customer service to support the e-commerce initiatives of major clients.
Interim Operations Director for a shared back-office processing company being set up by two major financial institutions and a technology company. Established framework, service level agreements and operating model during the merging activities
