Campion Willcocks & Associates Ltd, the leading provider of interim and contract change management professionals to the private and public sector, has announced its acquisition of IEL, a major supplier of interim management and recruitment services together with business and IT consultancy.
"We are delighted to bring such a successful and well-known business under our banner," said Mark Campion, Managing Director, Campion Willcocks & Associates. "This acquisition perfectly complements our own successful business model, adding additional breadth and depth to our capabilities and our services, as well as expanding the pool of talented Associates we can offer to clients. Our own and IEL's clients, both current and future, will only benefit from this development."
The acquisition will see IEL's owner, Sue Smyth, retire. She commented: "Establishing and building IEL over the past 16 years has been a privilege and I am hugely indebted to all IEL clients and consultants who have supported our success. We have always held Campion Willcocks in the highest regard and I am delighted to leave the business in such safe hands."
Established in 1989, IEL is an S-Cat prime contractor. This means its services are available direct to any public sector client through the OGC online services catalogue (S-Cat) - OGCbuying.solutions, speeding up the process by which organisations can access high-level resource for projects - including interim managers specialised in critical areas such as change, IT, procurement, HR, finance and strategy. OGCbuying.solutions has novated the S-Cat agreement held by IEL over to Campion Willcocks.
Mark Campion adds, "Like our own business, IEL has focused on developing close and long term relationships with its clients, providing the best people as and when they are needed. We share the same values: speed and responsiveness, flexibility, an independent outlook, a commitment to quality assurance, and providing clients with value for money. So this acquisition is a perfect fit between likeminded businesses."
