Campion Willcocks sponsor the launch of Tamara Taylor’s Testimonial Year

Tamara Taylor and Mark Campion

Campion Willcocks was the proud sponsor at last night’s launch of the first ever female testimonial for Tamara Taylor, who was honoured with a Testimonial Year in recognition of her outstanding contribution to rugby.

Tamara’s achievements and awards are impressive and include; 115 caps for England, 4 World Cups including the World Cup win in 2014, Captained 6 Nations in 2015, and the RPA (Rugby Players’ Association) Player of the Year Award in 2017.

Mark Campion, Executive Chairman of Campion Willcocks and Trustee of the Restart charity, commented: “This was a unique and historic evening. I am so proud that we are helping Tamara push the boundaries and light a fire for professional female sport.”

The event was held at Smith & Wollensky in London and was attended by some of rugby’s great players along with corporates supporting Tamara and her chosen charities.

The charities benefiting are: Restart, the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association; Women’s Sport Trust, raising the visibility of women’s sport; and Nordoff Robbins, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people through music therapy.

Amanda Harris, Head of Resourcing at Campion Willcocks Interim business, commented: “Last night’s event was fantastic and it’s great to be associated with a company that’s recognising the importance of women in sport and in the workplace.”

Campion Willcocks will continue to support the events throughout the year and is delighted to be part of this historic Testimonial Year.
